Control of Seven-Emotion Internal Damage, Essential Condition of Longevity

To preserve our health, firstly, we should learn to control the seven emotions and six carnal desires. In the view of  Taoist cultivating -practicing-preserving -health theory, the seven emotions is the influence of the invisible material's upon human body ,and a cause of failing ill. It's regarded as state of the spirit in general, but in a sense of strictness, it's the changing state of the subjective spirit influenced by the profound and subtle material consciousness in human body, and, its manifestation is the corresponding reflection of human body on objective things, under the normal situations, one can't be ill so long as it doesn't exceed the physiological valve-quantity. Only when suffering sudden and overmuch excitements or in the exciting state for a long period ,making the seven emotions exceeding the normal physiological limits, leading to  disorder of the Qi , unbalance between Yin -Yang Qi and blood of internal organs ,will we get ill. Because the seven emotions is the main elements of illness, traditional Chinese medicine calls it  seven- emotions internal damage.
